blue office

A former car workshop is transformed into a digital development office where industrial design, the integration of nature and social interaction converge.

The project's strategy articulates the different work zones around a central point: an oasis at the heart of the office. An open space, yet materially defined, conceived as an informal work area for impromptu meetings, a coffee break or simply a change of scenery. The objective is clear: to foster social interaction in the workplace, understanding that the best ideas do not always happen in a meeting room.

The integration of natural vegetation is not a complement but a design decision. Four different plant species are combined in timber planters, strategically placed to ensure a visual connection with nature from every workspace. Recent studies in biophilic design support what intuition always suggested: working close to vegetation improves productivity, reduces stress and encourages creativity. Here, nature does not decorate. It works.

The company's corporate electric blue colour takes on different textures as the project's common thread, flowing through every space and merging with the two materials that define the intervention: birch wood and stainless steel. The dialogue between both materialities responds to the different degrees of relationship the office holds. Birch defines the interior, everyday space, bringing warmth, comfort and closeness. Stainless steel marks the threshold with the outside world at the reception and meeting room. The choice is not arbitrary. Each material signals a distinct intention. Birch welcomes those who work and steel receives those who arrive.
